Getting There

Balam Balam Place is easily accessible by public transport - located a 7 minute walk from Brunswick Station, and 11 minutes from Jewell Station. Trams stop along Sydney road, close to Brunswick Library, which is a 4 minute stroll away from Balam Balam.

Accessibility

The space is Wheelchair Accessible, with lifts to Levels 1 & 2 - prams and strollers can be left in the foyer directly outside Room 205.

Where We Are

Blossom & Bloom Music Classes are located on Level 2, in Community Room 205. As you enter Balam Balam Place, you’ll pass the gorgeous Home Economics cafe on your right, and go straight ahead to the lifts. Classes are located on Level 2 - as you exit the lift, turn right and keep going straight ahead - you’ll see a glass window on your right, and you’ll see room 204.

Facilities

Balam Balam Place has a Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom, with baby change tables. 

Downstairs, there is a beautiful cafe, Home Economics, where you can enjoy Warm drinks, pastries, breakfast, pastries or cakes.

Additionally, there is a children’s play area for if you’re running early, would like another fun activity to do after class, or just need to fill some time before Bub has a nap!

Blossom & Bloom classes run as a 4 week Winter series, on Saturdays July 4, 11, 18 & 25.

2-Week Class passes for July 18 & 25 are now available for $49!

About Each Class

18 Months- 3 Years

In these classes, we aim for toddlers to explore music more actively through singing, simple instruments such as shakers, and through movement whether dancing, stomping like a dinosaur, or using props such as scarves while we sing songs. We introduce 2-3 year groups to keeping the beat, as well as learning fun nursery rhymes, and action songs. Our 2-3 year classes foster early language development, creativity, and socialisation.

3.5 Years - 5 Years

In our oldest class groups, Blossom & Bloom offer more structured activities like singing, call and response, beat-keeping and dancing - allowing children to build their musical skills and confidence while having fun. These lessons help enhance fine motor skills, memory, creativity and musicality.
